# Local processing, cloud AI, membership and privacy

Local typing, local correction, iCloud sync and cloud AI are separate NanoMouse data paths. Free accounts receive seven daily cloud AI requests; paid subscribers use a subscription-period allowance.

Local typing and correction are available without a NanoMouse cloud login. NanoMouse-provided cloud AI requires an account. Free accounts receive seven requests per day, resetting on Beijing time and shared across devices and service regions.

Active paid subscribers use Pro access and a subscription-period allowance. Existing unexpired transition trials retain their applicable entitlement; new-system accounts do not receive a new trial. The current App Store client is 3.4.7: its first seven daily free-account cloud requests use the new service, with legacy permissions and limits afterward. Paid subscribers do not use this preview rule. The 3.4.8 client model picker must not be described as already available in 3.4.7.

The model catalog can change. NanoMouse cloud AI follows account permissions and usage limits. Supported bring-your-own-key direct connections are billed by the provider and do not use the NanoMouse cloud allowance. Local correction does not consume that allowance.

Same-account iCloud sync and invitation-based sharing have separate scopes. Explicit cloud AI tasks process the relevant text, images or audio through the selected service. Consult the privacy policy for data practices and the App Store purchase screen for subscription pricing.

## How to use it

1. Check whether a task uses local, system or online processing.
2. Review eligibility and remaining usage in the account screen.
3. Read the privacy policy before selecting a workflow for sensitive material.

## Are there seven free requests for each feature?

No. Applicable tasks share the account’s seven-request daily ledger. Recognition followed by cloud text cleanup can involve multiple requests.

## Is the public GitHub repository the full source of the current app?

No. It preserves historical open-source code and updated resources and documentation. Subsequent app development is maintained privately.

Verified November 6, 2026. The public App Store version is 3.4.7; cloud membership services have been updated. Client-only 3.4.8 capabilities are not presented as already released. Features and interfaces vary by device, OS, region and version.
